Chanel 22 bag Club!

Hello,
My husband brought me the 22 bag in black during this work trip, I am super happy as it's been very difficult to get hold of this item in HK. Before I start wearing this gorgeous item, I would really appreciate any tips or suggestions before using it? Do you suggest spraying some leather protection? He mentioned Chanel now has a 5-year aftercare on this bag, not sure if this is true?

Yes Chanel now has a 5-year warranty on all bags and WOCs. I personally don't treat leather on my Chanel bags. I only clean them with the leather cleaning wipes then apply conditioner as needed. My Chanel SA advised me against treating leather as it may change the integrity of the material. Enjoy your new bag.

Yes there was a gray 22 with silver hardware from 22B collection. Gray is coming back for 23B though, but I'm not sure if it has silver or gold hardware :/

I think I’m gonna order the medium in denim! I already have the small in navy blue and it’s probably my favorite bag. I use it way more than my CF and 19. Is it different enough to justify two 22 bags?

Mine is actually a smooth calfskin, but they may have changed the composition of that since the earlier batches came out, because it seems very sturdy vs the earlier quality issues. I did look at the caviar in store, but they only had yellow. It definitely seemed very strong, but I found the finish of the smooth leather to be a bit more elegant.

I am huge fan of the 22! I have my so black small for 7 months already and no problem with wear and tear and currently waiting for my denim.
Need to remind myself to put my bag away because I wear it a lot.

Chanel doesn’t allow reserves anymore so you might still have a chance. You should reach out to your SA and ask. Also check the stock thread to see which boutique has it available. Good luck!
