Caviar looks great, is the bag heavier or the same as shiny calfskin?

Hi, I’m not sure, just received this pic from my SA, and I got the calfskin. Would like to know too, might want to get a caviar in the future

It’s so so light, for me a little to unstructured - when empty it’s a puddle ! If you can afford a bag that will decrease in value for it it. Really chic every day bag x

I really love the tweed versions of the bag - as much as tweed can be much more of a problem with showing wear, on this bag it looks really great!

So far my 22 pink one held up well, caramel one my sis wanted it so I can’t speak about that one but I didn’t hear any complain.
I love my pink one so much I ended up adding cruise black one with white stitching. I been wanting to add this black one but from previous collections leather felt so thin compare to my pink.
So finally cruise one seems thick like my pink, so I pulled the trigger.
I have been wearing the pink one a lot. It is one of the laziest design by chanel but it’s also one of the easiest bags to wear. I grab it more then the flaps, light weight and fits my sunglass, eye glasses, make up, wallet and keys and there’s room for lot more. Bag held up well ( no Lether peeling fingers crossed). If you go few pages back on this thread I had a white one that was horrible, leather peeling issues after 1-2 wear but chanel refunded me since it had major flaws on leather coating or pleather or whatever material they used for these bags.
If you like Tote, unstructured styles then you may like it. Mine was easy to clean too, I believe chanel did some type of coating on these bags.
Here are some pics, it is the most expensive “trash bag”in my collection lol ha ha.

Thank you so much!! I also pulled the trigger. lol After coming back and keep looking at the bag... I figured I probably will regret it if I didn't. I went with the 23C Caramel Small. I've only had it for a few days though, so also worried about the " leather peeling" but also, overtime, if the bag shows signs of wear and tear, I am totally fine with it. (that is expected if we use our bags) I really like this bag, so I am hoping it doesn't jinx me so far. I do see a difference from yours and mine though. Your stitching doesn't fully go around the edges. From research, I did hear that may have made a difference in the "leather peeling"... but who knows, maybe its all up to luck and how we use our bags.

Anyway, I appreciate all of the details! Love them!

I wanted the silver hardware, got offered a caviar one at first, but I still prefer a calfskin and finally got this beauty! Not the silver but better lol! The sliver is very hard to get now, based on what my SA said.

I have a confession to make. I talked trash about this bag several months ago in this exact thread, and when I went to the boutique last week, I ended up coming home with a small white 22 bag with ghw...

I will post a follow up reveal at a later time when I get some time.

I have a small and I love it! Its really lightweight and I have used mine with no issues at all.

After non-stop using the bag for 1 week (for Gym, work, shopping), I really love it. It is really lightweight and easier to use than my other Chanel bags. Still no issue, keeping my fingers crossed.
