Help!!

I just bought two beautiful Chan Luu scarves (both are 70% Cashmere/30% Silk blend), and the texture is just amazing. Super soft and voluminous. Unfortunately, the scarves shed everywhere. Little fibers that cling onto my clothes and even build-up to fuzzballs. It's especially noticeable for the white fibers from my eggshell scarf to shed onto my dark-colored coats, shirts, and even my pants!

Does anyone else experience this problem? Will the shedding ever stop??

I'm so disappointed that I shelled out a few hundred dollars for two scarves, yet the shedding they are exhibiting makes them unwearable. :shucks:

Someone please help!! :help:

I finally found this thread! I bought my first Chan Luu scarf around 2 years ago. I've always loved LV's leopard scarves, but refuse to pay that much money for a scarf. Chan Luu scarves are made from the same materials LV uses - silk & cashmere - but for a much more reasonable price. I also think their leopard scarves look very similar to LV.

My first one was a brown leopard scarf, then I added a navy one last year. Of all the scarves I own, I wear my Chan Luu ones the most. I'm looking to add another one to my collection, I just need to decide which one to choose!

Here are a couple pics of the scarves I already own

^ I would also like to know about this from the ladies who have had them for a while. I just ordered 6 from Creative Contrast!

My scarves are wearing wonderfully. No shedding, no snagging, no fuzzies on my clothing. I don't baby my scarves and wear them pretty often.

I like both of your scarves, especially the navy one, so unexpected color combo for a leopard print.

I was looking at scarfs on eBay and came across a few of the leopard ones for real cheap. Tags says 90% modal and 10% cashmere. Double checked chain luu.com and those scarf are 70% cashmere 30% silk. Are the eBay ones fake? Also the sizing seem to be off as well. Anyone can confirm this? Thanks

Don't know about the scarves but a lot of the Chan Luu bracelets on ebay are fake.

i hope this transaction will work out for you.
i tried to buy the CL scarf from creative contrast once...they gave me the tracking but it was never shipped..only the label was created.
don't let them BS you...they were very bad. i think i ordered it at the end of the week and thought they would ship at the beginning of next week...no, they didn't i think i waited a week for the tracking # to sent to me and another week to wait for the scarf. but it never came. i used paypal so i called PP and got my money back.

and i found another site, willimashoes and they shipped it to me without any problem. BUT just a week or two ago, there's a woman called me and told me i cancelled the order and i got the scarf and my money which was not true. i told her to send me the evidence via email b/c i wasn't going to pay for the same scarf twice. and i called my bank to verify...i think it was some kind of fraud. i don't think it's the website...it's their staff or someone used to work there trying to scam ppl. anyway...just be very careful when we shop on those not to well known website. pls keep us posted.

June, I wish I read your post before I made a purchase from creativecontrast.com
as far this is the most awful shopping experience in my life. they take your money and then they ignore you when you asking about shipping of your order a week later. finally they responded that my scarf is on pre-order and will be shipped within 5-7 weeks even though when I ordered the scarf was supposedly in stock. I asked them for cancelling my order yesterday but when I logged in to my account my order disappeared without trace instead of having cancelled status. I send them an email asking about my refund and didn't hear from them since.
Ladies, be aware and save yourself some trouble and avoid this not trustworthy company :nono:

I have 4 chan luu scarves now, in doe skin, sangria, biking red and baja blue. Amazing colours and they wear so well. I've had them over a year now and wear them very often, in the cold London weather :) They are thick and chunky and so warm! I promise I don't work for them :smile1: Here are baja blue and biking red, sangria is on the above post. I'm sorry the photos came out massive!
