I am excited to say all of my new Chan Luu scarves have arrived and it's love!!!

As juneping said earlier in the thread, they are fabulous. Truly. They are larger than Love Quotes (which I have a dozen or two of!) and because of the 70% Cashmere/30% Silk blend.... an amazingly soft and snuggly!

So I have 3 of the LV leopards; the Marron (brown), Bleu Nuit, Gris Marine... they are gorgeous.. I do love them but they are very spendy (current retail is $860)...

The LV has eyelash fringe and the CL has longer fringe all around which wears with much more character and personally for $150-$245 (versus $860 before tax, in San Francisco, I pay in upwards of another $80 in tax!)... I will buying Chan Luu from now on :flowers:

Thanks for the measurement comparison. Does the lv have the fringes all around or just at the two ends? I personally like the look of the eyelash fringe better. But I like the price of chan luu. I also think the print on the lv is nicer. Chan luu is nice too. I just can't get myself paying that much for a lv scarf. Wish I had bought it back when it was around $500 something but I thought that was expensive then too. What to do?

I recently bought a Cartier love, celine luggage, and givenchy pandora. Now trying to talk my hubby into buying the scarf but I don't see that happening anytime soo :(.

I totally understand, I love my LV's and I love that I have at least one. I have just come to the realization I do not need multiples of the LV scarf, especially when I am able to get a yummy, cuddly Chan Luu.... :flowers:

i still think LV stole is a great (the best) scarf but i think CL is just as great...softer (at least that's how i feel the fabric). i only have one LV and i am okay with just one. i bought a few inspired versions but the way the fabric hangs was quite different. CL quality is awesome and the price is so much more reasonable.

My Chan Luu obsession is probably a real psychological problem...but who cares! :D

^^ these are really addictive. i just got another 'spring' one, purple paisley on white background and am already scouting the perfect red one before that one is even here. they make great 'shawls' in the summer and in icy movie theaters.

anyone have biking red? trying to figure out whether that or rose red is best for me.

I have biking red! It's amazing! So rich in colour. You should get it. Just got mine recently and now I'm addicted to them!

I have a question for those with the dark coloured scarves- have you dry cleaned or washed your scarf yet? If so has it retained the colour? So scared about losing the colour in mine. Thanks!
