With so many marriages ending in divorce, I think it's really wonderful and sweet to hear that couples who are married want to celebrate their love and partnership!
I do think it's unfair to expect gifts again if you got them the first time. It would be great to collect for a charity or something at a vow renewal ceremony, though. (Bring non-perishable food items, or perhaps items on the wish list of an animal shelter?)
