Could be lippicat yes and therefore not necessarily vintage. I've seen this fur type in a few furriers.

Tom Ford hooded crop jacket - Italian skunk, fox trim hood, and a little mink around the embroidered accents back and sides.
Skunk is under rated, it's a really nice fur thick and lush/fluffy, super soft and very durable, doesn't shed..and no odor [emoji38]
