My small LOVE literally just fell off this morning while I was walking into work. I am freaking out because I JUST got it about a month ago, and already it fell off. Maybe I didn't screw it on right, I don't know, but now I'm concerned that it will happen again and I'll lose it. Thankfully it was while I was walking into my office and it felt funny and then it just fell to the ground right in front of me. At least I have insurance, but still.

Yeah, it's happened to me twice and it really scares me  And both times I'm not really doing anything. No crazy activity or anything, just walk and sit. LOL not sure how it can happen. I always stare at my screw to make sure its in the proper place and not unlocked too :\
I do the same. I just checked it a few days ago, as well, and it looked normal. And then boom, it fell off this morning.

So sorry! It’s honestly disheartening to pay a ton for something that’s unrealiable. This happened to me when I got the small love a few months back. A WEEK into wearing the bracelet, it fell off during my sleep. Because I had taken off the tag, I didn’t think I was able to return it. I went back and forth w customer service, because they wanted it shipped to NYC to repair, but my whole argument was that it shouldn’t NEED to be repaired, at least a week in. So I finally got them to agree to exchange/ return it. I returned it and paid the difference for another regular Love. They just feel more secure. I’m sure if you explain the situation to your Sales Associate, they will make it right.

I don't have an SA because I have to order my Cartier items from their website. We don't have a Cartier boutique here in Colorado, unfortunately. So I guess I would just call their CS directly?

Yes! I have an in-person SA, but for this piece in particular, I ordered online. If you call the online store, and speak w an online SA, and you’ll receive the same quality of service. I spoke with Natalia.

I'll have to do that, because for it to fall off after only wearing a month is disconcerting. Thank you for the recommendation.

Mine came off once about a month after I got it, never happened again. I fully believe it was my mistake, especially since it never happened again.
I’d keep wearing it, if it happens again then I’d be worried. But it’s possible it wasn’t locked ?

You're probably right, because I remember when I first got it putting it on and trying to screw in the locking mechanism, and it didn't feel right. I can't explain it, but it didn't feel secure to me. I should have taken that as a sign, and tried to screw it even more. I'll try it again obviously since I want to wear it, and see if it feels better when I screw it in.

How long have you had it? Or, you have two, don't you?

I'm fairly certain we put mine on wrong originally lol
We just kept twisting and twisting

The screw motif on the lock on the small will be aligned in the same direction as the other (engraved) screw motifs when it’s in the locked position. It doesn’t matter which direction you turn it—as long as the motifs are all in the same direction, it’s locked.
mine fell off once when I first got it, but I’m fairly certain it’s because I neglected to lock it. Now I make extra sure it’s locked immediately after putting it on.

I put the bracelet back on when I got home, and it does feel more secure when I turned the screw. I turned it around more than I did before so I hope it's more secure now and doesn't fall off again. I keep checking it because I'm nervous.

This is true. I always lock mine in the same direction as the other screw motifs. And double check before I leave the house.

Well, I woke up this morning and my small Love fell off AGAIN! What on earth is happening? It did really well up until this point, and when I tried screwing it back on, it wouldn't stay on. Should I send back to Cartier to fix? I've only had it for about 2 months now. I'm really worried that I'm going to lose it.

Does the screw turn very easily? If yes, it may need to be repaired. You should hear a bit of a click when turned into the lock and also into the unlock position. It shouldn’t be so loose as to turn and unlock on its own.
