Cartier Small Love Coming Off/any issues with lock?

Make sure your bracelet is insured! Normal renters/homeowners insurance policies have limits for jewelry, so your bracelet might not be covered if you haven't specifically listed it with your insurer! The cost should be minimal for insurance that covers full replacement cost if the piece is lost or stolen.
yeah :( definitely will look into it!

Mine has done it twice, and now just today as I was sitting at my desk I heard a
Click and noticed the screw was not in the locked position. The bracelet didn’t open yet, but I think it’s because I noticed it in time. Now I’m worried. Anyone reach out to Cartier yet about it?

You should have Cartier take a look at it.

I’ve had mine for nearly 3 years without any issues. In fact, my screw seems so secure that both my husband and I both had trouble unscrewing it recently. Also, the hinge appears to be very tight still as well.

Whether it’s the classic or small, I think if you are having issues and don’t feel secure with it on, you should not hesitate to have them check it out. However, on my classics, I use Loctite.

Thank you, I totally agree. I text my SA and waiting to her back from her. I will be near a Cartier Boutique this weekend so I might just stop by as well.

Mine came off the second time. Anyone bring it back for repair ?
that's so scary! i am going to stop by a boutique these two weeks to have them take a look. but honestly, the nyc stores, i'm not sure if i'll find anyone very knowledgable. my SA also just left to go work at tiffanys LOL and now i'm just sad, cause it took me a while (after 3 separate purchases) to find an SA I vibed with at cartier nyc.

Update. I went to SCP and the SA said it seemed ok, still clicks when it locks. I should just keep and I on it. Otherwise they could have sent it out but it’s like a 4 month lead time right now for repairs.

Hi all

I receieved the small love 5 days ago and awoke from a nap yesterday realizing it had fallen off. I understand to lock it you turn it 1/4 so that the motif is horizontal with the others and when I looked at it when it was off it was completely turned and unlocked. Then when I went to go lock it, it now turns 360 and keeps turning and turning whereas before it would stop at the 1/4 mark.

I have shipped it for Cartier to do a diagnostic on it, however, this rubs me the wrong way as I received this bracelet 5 days ago and it’s clearly a malfunction issue. I stack it with my regular love that has had zero screw issues thus far.

What would you all do?

Just ask to exchange for a non-defective one. Shouldn't be a big deal cuz it's so new.

I agree. It hasn’t even been a week! When I spoke with the ambassador, I told her that even if it needs a repair , I’m not comfortable with having a bracelet that’s already needed to be repaired five days in. I really hope they accommodate the exchange , even though she swore that repaired items come in pristine condition.
was hoping to get feedback from peoples experiences with faulty items w Cartier

Just an update: they deemed it not a manufacturer issue so no exchange. It’s being repair as it was out of symmetry.

I’m so disappointed as I had it for FIVE days. I’m actually still within the return window as we speak. It’s been in Cartier’s possession longer than I had it.

that is really disappointing... i agree with you. :( i'm sorry to hear that. i hope you get it back soon! i still have yet to take mine in for a check-up. it's so hard to bear parting with it when i've had it on daily for like 2 years. :(
