I am neutral here, as a customer I don't like to see price increases; as a shareholder price increases are beneficial. Generally Cartier did not increase most prices excessively unlike e.g. Chanel.
They have decreased their prices on watches.
I am interested to see whether US tariffs will factor in to this price increase. I sort of wonder if the company is waiting to see what is announced in order to ascertain how to reprice.
Cartier has decreased prices before, so has VCA. Gloabl adjustments.
I have seen a price decrease on VCA before. Haven’t seen it on Cartier yet.
I only saw price decreases (and eventually increases) on the Rainbow love pieces. Perhaps because it was made out of sapphires? Also it wasn’t a very popular piece at the time - until it went out of production.
The entire time, I think the rest of the Cartier pieces’ prices, aside from watches, were steady unlike Dior’s fine jewelry. Dior prices also took a nose dive that time.
I’m imagining Cartier prices will hold steady and maybe decrease for unpopular pieces like last time. Mods - pls delete if inappropriate!

Yes they did... I'm in the UK I once saw the price of either the JUC or Love go up then drop but I can't remember which it was . I had screenshot them both at the time and went to look at them on the website and the price had gone up . It stayed up for a while then came back down . Only ever seen that happen once and never knew why
Hi, are you in Toronto? Any news on price increase for us Canadians? I don't have a boutique close to me so I've kind of been delaying getting my Clash cause I'd prefer to go in person that buy it over the phone like I've been doing with other pieces. But if price increase is confirmed, I might have no choice.
Yes, I am in Toronto. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get any confirmation. Hopefully someone else will be able to get the information for us!
I feel this is not correct. There's no 10% tariff. And the calculation is far from reality. Not sure where the post ist coming from (US?) the tariff is 31% for watches and in most cases 20% for jewelry .... for the US. No change for Canada.
The increase, however, sounds reasonable given the price runup of gold like I described above.

Went to a (US) boutique yesterday and made a purchase. A price increase is definitely happening in May—SA confirmed.
