Cartier price increase thread *please include your location*

The new quarterly numbers are out - looks good for Richemont (they do not separately listed the Cartier figures). Given the moderate price increases they also seem to have increased their volumes. However, being in Vegas the stores are quite empty for all luxury brands. Looks the days are over where you had to queue to get into one.

Would be surprised if we see huge price increases going forward.

May be time of year or if conferences are in town, summer in Vegas is pretty hot lol
I was at the Wynn a couple of months ago and waited in line for Chanel and Cartier, VCA was dead.

Well, with today's announcement in the US of 15% tariffs on items from the US, I am curious if Cartier, VCA, Hermes, etc. will raise prices again.

With gold prices soaring should we expect a bigger price increase this holiday season than the usual 2–5%?

Not so sure. Gold is relatively stable since April. However, they might still cover a bit of the steep increase before that. And - for the US - not to forget the tax situation.

I don’t think that it is the norm for Cartier to increase its prices in the fall. I can only recall that they did that once in either 2022 or 2023. They had a PI already this spring.

I was shopping at the Cartier boutique in Singapore this morning and an SA told me they’re having a price increase next month across all collection, 8% up to 12%… not sure if it’s true or if he just wanted to make a sale, but this is what he told me.
