100%! And it makes me want to buy more pieces that I normally would . Kind of takes out the specialness of the occasion for me.

I agree, it is very pressuring especially if you have been saving for it. I like to appreciate and wear my item before I make the next purchase but when you hear there may be an upcoming increase, your brain rationalizes whether to buy it now to beat the price increase or just buy it when you are ready to purchase. The price increase in the last few years have really been off putting to say the least. And it isn't just Cartier, Chanel just did a price increase not a few days ago and a medium CF is over $12k! My head hurts just thinking of the price.

I have become aware of the frequent price increases and I started saving months ago and thankfully I am prepared but jeez. Once a year is enough!!!

if you are considering buying in Melbourne I’d get there as soon as you can. I just took the plunge and purchased the juste en clou to beat the price increase. My SA said he did the same thing. Put in an order for himself. For a LOVE. He mentioned that he has been receiving text messages for a few days with people trying to secure their pieces. 10% is a hefty jump.
Oh and I’m already in love with my new addition.

London associate has confirmed the increase date for me as 5th April!

I am trying to get everything in order to make a trip to a Cartier store that is 3 1/2 hours away. As much as I would love to just order online, I really need to try on and decide on the store. Hopefully the price increase date won’t be bumped up sooner!

I actually go to a different state so I can pay lower sales tax. Call me “cheap” but it’s worth it! Lol
