It's just like how people go to Europe and buy more than they normally would for vat.
Other alternative is a Caribbean cruise where if the post has a store, it is tax free.
I’m from Sydney. And it’s true! New prices will take effect on Friday next week. I was actually at the Cartier store in George St last Friday to get my Tank serviced and my SA told me this news.
Love bracelets will now be AUD 11,500 from AUD 10,500. I believe it’s gonna ba a 1k increase for the slimmer version at well.
Trinity rings will be at 2k, the slimmer version at 1.7k (less than 200 dollars increase)
Because of this I ended up getting the Trinity rings

A friend's associate now said it will be 1st April(London)
I asked my SA in Amsterdam and she also said price increase on April 1st.
When I went to my SA yesterday, I mentioned the price increase and gave him an estimated timeframe of maybe end of March or early April and he said that makes sense because that’s when their quarterly ends/starts. So, I made an appt on 3/18 to buy my LOVE bracelet lol. I do not want to spend another $600 for the same bracelet. Let me “save” lol

Most likely but cartier has given info about price increase in advance for last price increase if you asked about particular items

You emailed them in the past? And they told you a specific time frame etc?
I didn't but some ppl were able to get info by calling. This time I asked specifically about this week and next month when other regions are having a price increase.
