Cartier price increase thread *please include your location*

My SA here in NYC insists that they don’t have the exact date for the price increase yet.

I feel like some SAs are playing along with the price increase rumors just so they can pressure their clients to panic buy, if that makes sense.

I know mine said May 16th for the increase. I’m in the US not sure why the different dates?

I bet this is exactly whats happening. Similar to the holiday pendant rumors with VCA, you san tell which SAs read the boards and recirculate rumor.

I've been informed by my SA price increase happening in Malaysia on May 9th too! 3-15%

My SA told me that the trinity cord bracelet will go up relatively a lot because they want to bring it closer to other jewelry from the brand. So expect a near 20% on that. If it was ever on you wishlist, now is the time to get it.

In this article published April 14 Cartier CEO states price increases of 3-5% in the next “several” weeks. Historically Cartier increase have occurred on the first/last day of the month so I’d think end of May. I think the May 9th date is to cause people to panic buy before Mothers Day

I was at the boutique in Chicago yesterday and ended up buying the plain small JUC in RG- which was not what I was planning on- I was debating about plain in YG or diamond YG but decided the diamond looked too complicated with my stack and I already had the RG diamond JUC ring. My SA didn't say a date but said the increase was VERY soon.

Popped in to Cartier today. Was told that increase in Singapore will be 9th of May. Am contemplating getting a Love necklace or VCA’s vintage alhambra necklace. Have to make a decision before price increase!

VCA price increase rumored to be 8% so you might want to grab that first!
