Anyway - back to Cartier, I’ll pay for an order this Saturday to secure its current price. My SA still hasn’t confirmed the date for price increase, but will ask her again for the nth time (lol) this Saturday.

My SA in Sydney has confirmed price increase for 9th May as well, but mainly across watches. Some jewellery may go up by about $100, definitely not a % increase across the board.

My SA confirmed May 9th price increase in the US. I wanted several items but they're not in stock in store. She said she can order them for me now and even if it gets here after the increase, I'm locked in for the price on the date the order was placed. I also don't have to pay till it comes in.

I’m so frustrated by the conflicting reports. Someone on FB posted 8-10% on May 16 but I just got a text from a SA who said no date yet. Others are saying May 9th. Bloomberg article said 3-5%. What is it, for Pete’s sake?! Ugh. Ok, rant over.

My theory is that some are intentionally trying to confuse to cause panic buying and others may just be repeating rumors with no solid intel …
