I do have an SA from the 5th Ave that is taking deposits for the thin JUS thin.

Honestly speaking I don’t think the price increase would be on the new thin JUC. It just doesn’t make sense for them to take a deposit weeks before the release date and rumored price increase. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

How much would you be saving if you bought the bracelet overseas? And when would you be traveling?

Personally I wouldn’t be able to wait. I’ve been waiting for this bracelet to come to the US since I saw someone posting a pic from the HK webs it’s.

Yeah, I think it would be weird to do a price increase on a new launched item as well. For overseas I think save atleast $300-400 after tax and everything I believe (not quite sure since Paris prices aren't posted yet). And with COVID not sure when I'll be traveling. But I did just purchase a thin love and also buying a thin JUC ring for my SO this weekend. I've actually seen it in person already overseas but didn't purchase at the time. I'm okay with waiting personally as I've just gotten a piece for Cartier and one from VCA and a bag + Hermes for my bday last month already. LOL >.< (July) Birthday impulses are hard to control... but I still feel I went a bit overboard. (Mind was not on body after not shopping for months with COVID lock down LOL) I'm down to purchase it still... but it's just I am thinking more of it's more special if I space out my purchases and to get it overseas. I tend to get a new piece of jewelry to mark each special moment (ex: VCA was for bday, the Cartier was for me and my SO anniversary) so debating if I should wait for the next big event, that's all. But with COVID traveling, it's super hard to say... that's what's making it more difficult to decide.

Can you ask to see whatever you want or do you have to request it when you make your appointment and cannot make any requests once inside?
When you make the appointment you describe what you're going in for but during my appointment I asked to see additional items and it was fine. I didn't feel rushed per se, but I was also conscious of not running into someone else's appointment so i just took pictures. i hope this helps!

Oh if you can wait and save a little then I don’t see why not.

I agree with you. I like my jewelry pieces to represent a milestone or special occasion. Bags in the other hand is a different story lol.

Just got off the phone with my SA who is also an assistant manager at her location to place an order for my first Love bracelet, I’m so excited! She said the price increase is expected September but they haven’t even told her what it will include. It was nice to hear confirmation from someone directly from the store.

Just random info: my SA called me and told me that Cartier pricing will increase around 10-12% starting Sep 1st. This is the Iconsiam Bangkok location. Im assuming the price increase will be everywhere? not sure. Anywhoo... this might make it worth it to take the plunge and get the piece(s) I've been eyeing. Also, if you are a foreigner like me, you can get 6.5% VAT within 60 days of flying...but not sure how that is gonna pan out considering there are no international flights.
