Does anyone know if prices of Love bracelet are basically the same in California as the UK? I'm planning to get one for Christmas and was thinking it may be cheaper at Heathrow?
The online UK prices are more $$ than the website here, but wondering about VAT.

It’s cheaper to get in Heathrow .Divide the price by 1.2 and you get the price .

Thanks hun!

The last time I was in the boutique, I tried on the 56 (too big) and the 54 (too small) so I am assuming I am a 55 but would prefer to try it on before buying it (they didn’t have any stock unfortunately).

Where I live, we are on Stage 4 restrictions so all our Cartier boutiques are closed for the time being.
poor being...
Are you also from Melbourne?

Yes I am

Lucky us being in lockdown.. hopefully not for too much longer!

What would you do? Would you take a chance and buy it online? I just really hate the hassle of returning things when they don’t fit. If I return it to the store in person, I’d end up with store credit otherwise I have to organise for FedEx to collect it in person from my house on a scheduled day to get a refund.

I'm not sure if I can put down a deposit for a thin Juc with diamonds in NY. I'll go in stores and ask since I have to purchase a piece for my SO (Juc ring). So I'm wondering, do you guys think it's better for me to put down deposit at NY store (if they allow) or wait to get it overseas in Europe or HK? (would save on tax but probably after price increase since it's impossible to travel right now). Which would be a better choice? Hmm...

Hi! I had the same train of thought but its not that much cheaper internationally as Cartier sets their prices to be generally even (excusing the VAT of course). Idk if travel to certain places will open up soon but I would get it now since its being released in just 2 weeks. I booked my appointment for the end of the month to make sure I grab a love and was planning on asking about the deposit...pls lmk if you end up being able to put down a deposit for the thin JUC w diamonds in the meantime!

Edit: to clarify, pls lmk if you are able to put a deposit down at the 5th ave mansion as that is where my SA is (:

I do have an SA from the 5th Ave that is taking deposits for the thin JUS thin.

Honestly speaking I don’t think the price increase would be on the new thin JUC. It just doesn’t make sense for them to take a deposit weeks before the release date and rumored price increase. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

How much would you be saving if you bought the bracelet overseas? And when would you be traveling?

Personally I wouldn’t be able to wait. I’ve been waiting for this bracelet to come to the US since I saw someone posting a pic from the HK webs it’s.

I just called the boutique at the Americana on Long Island, NY and the SA told me she did not know of any price increase happening in the US. I wonder if this is info they do not disclose over the phone but she did seem sincere. Also, you must make a 30 min appointment in advance... no more in store browsing (for now due to Covid).

They only make 30 minute appointments? What if you need more time?

Yep, I've been to both Americana and Cartier Mansion 5th ave and both needs appointments and I did so for both stores. They simply do not take walk-ins. I've seen many people turned away :(
