My interpretation (forgive me if I am mistaken), is that if details such as specific new prices are known, that makes the word of the price increase quite credible versus a vague rumor. I assume that if information cannot be shared, it is because it was told in confidence, and if those details get out before the release date it could harm the relationship with the SA and limit future confidential communication to the client.
