IMO, you’re paying a lot for “what’s worth”. But then, luxury-worthy is always debatable.

My sm pave is a pass down. With that money, I probably would go for Serpenti full pave instead. Or a watch (but I don’t fancy watches :P ). But it all goes down to personal happy-index.

Wear n tear wise it’s the BEST. It hardly shows it because majority of the flat surface is covered by diamonds. That part surpasses other bracelets (at least compared to just that few bracelets that I own).

Coming a decade years old.

If I love it, every bits! But I prefer to stack it with other thin bracelets. I don’t like it alone (I generally do not prefer sm love diamond or not, on solo).
I have been looking for this variation of the size 16 small pave with 177 diamonds (rows of 7 and 8 diamond between screws)! I’m looking to go preloved and all the 16s are 153 diamonds now. You’re so lucky to have this model! I guess I haven’t been able to fine one like yours because it’s from 2013/2014! I didn’t even know the love pave manufacture dates back so far!

I’ve never counted the diamonds but now I know! Didn’t know Cartier changed things up along the way.

Wonder why that was changed?

they use fewer but bigger diamonds. I think the gaps are more noticeable than on the one you have though. I’d rather have more diamonds and smaller that cover the space better.

I was told at Cartier, that they never changed the diamonds layout.
@Purrsey are you completely sure the bracelet is original?
TBH, I feel there’s no reason the layout would have to be changed through the years. As much as I don’t see why my aunt “needs” to find alternative source other than Cartier, there’s only one way to find out.

@Msdanger, putting things into perspective, I think best to check with Cartier? I’m not gonna count the diamonds lol ; but I would trust Cartier!

@Purrsey I’ve seen reviews of superfakes online and they always have tell tale signs. The fact you’ve had yours for 10 years and it still looks pristine seems to indicate you have actual gold and diamonds which seems unusual. I’ve only see gold plated fakes. I did find another bracelet like yours in RG that was sold 2 years ago. I reached out to the jeweler and he said it was authentic. If it’s a fake, it would have fooled me (and apparently the jeweller!)… everything looks perfect on it! Also, I don’t completely trust sales staff. Not everyone has been with the brand for over a decade to know the product changes. I had a Tiffany’s necklace that changed design after 15 years and when i brought it in to clean the S.A. told me it was fake. I literally bought it from the store! Luckily my usual SA was in that day and educated her on the change. Also, i hear that Cartier SAs won’t even authenticate jewelry if asked… so im not sure how eagle eyed they are. Just my opinion and experience!

Regardless @Purrsey your bracelet is stunning and i hope i can find mine someday!

There are tons of 18k + diamonds superfakes that even jewelry professionals can’t distinguish from the original thing. I saw many of them, they are much more common than you might think. Gold plated can’t even be considered a superfake, as they are just costume jewelry.

Ah so you know people that have these super-fakes? How do you know they are fake when jewelry professionals can’t tell? Appreciate your insight as I’m looking preloved.
