Cartier love or diamond tennis bracelet?

Some people posted they had trouble with the newer Love bracelet screw threads staying tight. That may tip you one way or the other.

Personally, I don't like to wear anything I can't easily take off, but I also hated my tennis bracelet after awhile and tore it up to make a ring and pendant.

Lucky you, what a generous DH! Happy Anniversary!

I own a Love Bracelet, and I love it! I bought it for myself, however. My hubby also felt it was overpriced ( and, to be honest, until he saw it I on me he hated it). It has always been my belief that is hubby is giving me an item, he should feel comfortable with it too. Since this gift is to celebrate your years together, get something that you both love. He seems to really want to buy you a Tennis Bracelet. You can always save and buy yourself the Love Bracelet or Cuff later on.

Hi Friend! I was hoping you'd chime in!
I love the sentiment of the love but hubby just doesn't feel it. He thinks it's an over-marketed, over-priced piece. I do agree to a certain extent but after seeing so many here of TPF, I've grown to love it and want one. I think I've been sucked in by all the beautiful reveals!
I'm still considering the BB watch but hubby got me my beautiful Rolex just two years ago for my 40th. I don't know. Just not in love with the TB idea. I don't see myself wearing it regularly with my lifestyle - I'm usually in jeans or workout clothes.
Here's the issue- My heart is for both the LOVE bracelet and the Cartier BB but hubby isn't crazy about either. But, he would buy either for me because that's the kind of guy he is. I want this gift to be something he genuinely loves for me since it's a gift to celebrate our love and years together. Problem is, I don't love what he loves….. What to do?
What do you think about the BB idea- is it crazy to have two luxury watches that are so similar? I almost feel like I"m cheating on my Rolex!!!

Lol! You are not cheating on your Rolex! Owning two watches is perfectly fine. The BB looks very different than a Rolex.

If you really want a Love, have you talked to hubby about buying the cuff instead? It is significantly cheaper. Also, since you wear mostly white metals, you have the option to remove it when you do not want to mix. It might be the best option for both.

Diamond tennis bracelet! Check out Skyqueens beauty. It is to die for! x

For me it would be no contest: tennis bracelet!!!!!

And yes, check out SkyQueens, it's to die for!!

I wear my tennis bracelet almost every day. I feel like it can be worn with anything!

Not too shabby, Haute. LOL!

I think a TB is a classic and can be layered quite nicely. While I love a LOVE bracelet I could never wear one while I worked.
That being said...what a nice dilemma!

Yours IS gorgeous skyqueen! I am definitely considering diamond bangles like yours as an option. And yes, it is a fun dilemma!!!

Just don't have the same feelings for the cuff- it's bangle or nothing for the LOVE

OP, it does sound like you prefer the Love. I think it depends how strongly your husband feels about the Love vs the tennis bracelet. Is he offering it as an option because he doesn't "get" designer vs what you can otherwise buy? I think he probably just wants you to be happy.

He definitely just wants me to be happy. The issue is more with me than him. I want him to love what I decide on since ultimately, it's a gift commemorating our years together. Problem is, I don't think he'll ever love the LOVE bangle like I do. Maybe I'll just need to treat myself to the LOVE with my own funds and pick out something else special in the fall with him for our anniversary. If only money grew on trees!

Has he seen it irl? My hubby loved it on my wrist, but he did not like pictures of it.

Ah, I see. If you wish to hold off on the bangle then do you have something else in mind that you are particular fond off or would like to have? Diamond studs, another ring or a necklace?

Yes, he's seen it. I actually had a size 19 for a while that I purchased pre-loved but it was much too big on me. I resold it but really miss it. He liked it on me just fine but wasn't wow'd by it
