It's such a nice gift! I think your should check with the boutique whether they can exchange it, if it's been only 3 weeks and it's not all scratched up, they might be willing to help. Good luck

the thing is its engraved :/ I'm either thinking of paying the 60% and having them remake it in a 16 OR see if i can buy a couple other bracelets to create a "stack" and sort of sandwich the large 17 in. What do you think? Was thinking the thin pave love in a 16 and the JUC in 15 (as i heard they run bigger)

I'm thinking you need to analyze if you'd like to get the other two bracelets independently of owning this one. If the answer is yes, then you won't regret purchasing them even if your plan to wear a "sandwich" turns out to be uncomfortable. I also think it's a good idea to go to the store and try the stack on before purchasing.

Agree! Thanks for the insight. My husband who was also gifted the love bracelet by our FIL on our wedding day, has a size 18. I had him try on my size 17 and they didn't cross! Although it was only on his wrist for like 5 minutes i had him shake it around lol.

This is interesting but it’s not fair. You give them a Cartier Love bracelet they make you a new one and still have to pay 60% for their bracelet? I mean the gold price fluctuates so it depends who wins in this case.

It’s very true about the 60%. I’m in Atlanta and my SA told me about this option to. Also he stated that Cartier will not touch and bracelets that have been sized by other jewelers.

I agree. I would just sell the bracelet on my own and buy the right size. $6900 + $2760 (the difference) for the remaking, that’s $9660 before taxes. Something to think about.

Yes same for me. I asked my SA and she stated that is not true. She stated the best way would be to get piece resized or to sell and purchase a new item

Wow. I hate this for you. Maybe try to call customer service? I know when I purchased my bracelet, there were small scratches and they stated it was from the vault and no piece is perfect. There has to be something they can do.

Yes definitely once engraved, they usually don’t return. Hopefully they can find a way to help.
