OOH - any chance you hit up Cartier at the Bellagio? We are staying there in December and am already thinking about my Christmas wish list. I figure it might be a small store with small inventory though?

Yes. This. Boston put me in a room once. I heard to never put jewelry in your carry on for this reason. I wear it all! LOL.

Mine still doesn't really ever set off the sensors, except maybe 1 out of 20 times; but the security is starting to notice them more and more. Last trip I was about to go through and he said "those bracelets gonna set off my alarms!?" I said nope!, Then he joked with my DH that only the fakes set it off lol
(obviously untrue but funny since TSA rarely has fun!)

I've had strangely nice TSA the last few months. I flew w/o DH one leg of a trip and they were weirdly protective of me, it was the strangest experience!!

I was wearing a JUC and Ecrou going through Denver a couple of weeks ago. And my Submariner. Through the pre-check line.

I beeped and the TSA person asked me to take off my watch. AND HAND IT TO HER. I did because it seemed like there was no alternative. My husband told me later he did not take his eyes off my watch. Neither did I. But she literally held it and I walked through to her. And beeped again. She looked at my bracelets and asked if they came off. And I flat out lied and told her no. They inspected my arms, gave me my watch back, and we went on.

Not sure what I will do next time I fly. I don’t like having to remove things but I REALLY did not like having to hand my watch to someone else.

Btw, I am positive I got my watch back. The pearl on my bezel is cracked so it is easy to identify. And honestly, I may just hold off on fixing that pearl for that reason.

You can choose not to remove it, they’ll manually scan you. I won’t take anything off.

It was SO odd, I think that’s why I froze and then just gave it to her. I haven’t ever had anything similar happen before—usually if I beep they wand me.
