Hello, guy! I am in panic, literally signed up to figure this situation out. I am doomed!!

Oh my goodness, I put this mini wallet and cushion together in my mini bag, but since the cushion case has sharp crystals on it, it looks like it got scratched when they rubbed against each other. I’m such a fool😭😭😭😭
What should I do? If I go back to where I bought it, can they even fix it?

Hi! Welcome! So sorry for your issue. If you purchased it from a Chanel store your best bet is to ask them if they can repair. They may charge you though. If that’s not an option a local shoe cobbler may be able to take a look. Alternatively, I think there’s a couple threads on here recommending 3rd party handbag repairs. Here’s one for example:

Good luck!

Do we need to apply UV protectant for our caviar leather? They say its a sturdy leather but we have to protect against direct sunlight so how am I supposed to use it during the day? Can you recommend a brand I can purchase here in canada or amazons. Thanks

I don’t treat any of my bags ever, not lamb either.
Leather should definitely be expected to be carried in sunlight. I live in TX, LOADS of sun and heat. Just don’t store it in the sunlight. It doesn’t need spf ;)

I have numerous light colored bags as it’s my preference living in Florida and have never had any issues. Although they can be prone to color transfer I rarely wear dark denim and mainly use my light bags with lighter clothing and have no issues but I also already owned several black Chanel’s before purchasing lighter colors but I wear my pastel colors most :) I use Collonil Carbon Pro spray and it works like a dream to add an extra layer of protection.
