Canadian prices?

I would love to know the current Cdn$ for Lindy 30, Kelly 25/28 & Birkin 25/30.

Heading to Paris next week, if I'm lucky enough to score something. I'm in NS which means no H boutique

I will declare when return Canada. I know provincial tax varies. Is the duty for leather bag fixed at 10%? Thanks!

Lindy 30 is $5875 pre tax for clemence as of the end of Feb.

I don't know the prices for Kelly or Birkin.

I've paid 10% duty on leather.

I did the math on buying a 30 Lindy clemence eclat in Paris 4250 euro vs Toronto $6250, declaring full value with 10% duty and it works out to be $1000 CAD less to buy in Paris. Hermes refunds 10% VAT. Euro conversion 1.27.

I'm sure you'll save about the same buying a Kelly or Birkin.

Thanks! I read US$6700 for Lindy 30 now! So there was no increase in Canada?!

After you factor in the provincial sales tax, using 13% as an example (for Ontario), the savings amounts to under $300.

4250 x 0.9 x 1.27 x 1.23 (10% duty + sales tax) = $5975 CAD

$6250 was a pre tax price. $6250 x 1.13= $7062

Yikes! It will be merely Cdn$293 if the Canadian price stays at Cdn$5875 for Lindy 30. Not like the US price! It's even worse to buy in the US+Duty&tax. Better buy here only if there are more stock & if live near bouitique. Too bad I'm not >.<

Here's calculation with AMEX exchange rate will be €1=Cdn$1.36 which is higher than market (1.3)
Assuming I buy with AMEX:
€4250 - VAT10% = €3825
€3825 x 1.36 = Cdn$5202 (AMEX Bill)

Upon return to Canada:
€3825 x 1.30 = Cdn$4972.50 (Custom)
Duty 10% = Cdn$497.25
13% Tax = Cdn$646.43
Total duty & tax : Cdn$1143.68

Amex + duty&tax = Cdn$6345.68

Vs

New increased price for Lindy 30 is Cdn$6970

Thus: $7876.10 buy in Ontario

There are two prices listed for Lindys- one in Clemence for $5875 and the other in Clemence Eclat for $6250. Not sure what the difference in leather is. I compared the eclat price as it was listed in both CAD and EUR.

Eclat is two color Lindy I believe.

Did you see above prices I just post? Kobe (whose just got the BE B40), she was nice to PM me about the prices she asked just earlier. I assume they are the regular clemence Lindy. It's more about right if comparing with US retail price. What a crazy increase!!
