Good luck at the Toronto location! Some of the SA's have major attitude and like to play games. While I was there a guy came in asking for a Kelly for his wife and got a "No Kellys, sorry!" and ignored him for the rest of duration.

Are you coming from the US? Keep in mind the US dollar is currently stronger than the Canadian dollar. Last I checked the conversion was around 1 CDN= $.94 US. That doesn't sound like much but it could minimize the increased price and HST in Toronto. I purchased a Birkin in Calgary on Thursday and with the conversion, I actually paid less than what I would have paid in Houston. Good luck and hope you find some nice goodies.

I try to shop whenever I can get downtown. I don't consider myself a walk in because I do live in Calgary and have done all my Hermes shopping at that location since we moved up here from Houston 2 years ago. Probably the biggest reason I was able to purchase a Birkin was I told my SA I was in no hurry and I could honestly be happy with any size or color. I also told her I was not interested in exotics. They got a bag in that I guess wasn't spoken for and asked if I was interested. If I had a particular color or size in mind, I would still be waiting.
