So new Canadian prices are in then....

Wondering what's the price for Kelly 25/28/32 with non-exotic leather??? Probably these sizes are rare to be available in Canada too?

Did you see above prices I just post? Kobe (whose just got the BE B40), she was nice to PM me about the prices she asked just earlier. I assume they are the regular clemence Lindy. It's more about right if comparing with US retail price. What a crazy increase!!

Hi ceci, the lindy prices that I got were for Clemence leather. Canadian price increase was only effective as of March 1 or 2. The increase was around 10%.

Here's calculation with AMEX exchange rate will be &euro;1=Cdn$1.36 which is higher than market (1.3)
Assuming I buy with AMEX:
&euro;4250 - VAT10% = &euro;3825
&euro;3825 x 1.36 = Cdn$5202 (AMEX Bill)

Upon return to Canada:
&euro;3825 x 1.30 = Cdn$4972.50 (Custom)
Duty 10% = Cdn$497.25
13% Tax = Cdn$646.43
Total duty & tax : Cdn$1143.68

Amex + duty&tax = Cdn$6345.68

Vs

New increased price for Lindy 30 is Cdn$6970

Thus: $7876.10 buy in Ontario

I just came back from Paris yesterday.I thought the same too, The amount i declared is less the VAT. The custom officer told me that they compute the duties based on the full amount less the personal exemption allotted to us (which is $750 for > 7 days)

Hey all! I'll be in Toronto next 2 wks for vacation, n I'm trying to gather some info about Hermes purses before I get there. I can't find any prices for the Kelly bags even in the current price thread (basically have all prices but no canadian$). can someone help me with this? I'm looking for prices on the size 32 n 35 kelly retourne. Thanks a bunch!

Add about $400 to the USD price of a Kelly and you should have a good estimate. Also in case you are not from Ontario the HST is about 12%. I would also check out the thread on Toronto Hermes. Rumor is there are a few not so nice SAs. Good luck and I hope you get what you are looming for.

HST in Ontario is 13% :cry:
