I feel like if I saw a woman walking down the street wearing that bag I wouldn't look twice at the black but the maroon is definitely a head turner. I really am so confused for my mother though haha. She has other black bags but she wants to wear this bag everyday now and I know with black that never fails. With maroon, it may get boring. Ohhh I don't know hehe.

I love the bordeaux, BUT if given a choice I'd pick black. Tad bit easier to match.

ITA, the Bordeaux is a lovely color, but it wouldn't match nearly as much in my closet. I guess it depends on what your mom wears. I wear a lot of color so while I adore the Bordeaux I wouldn't be able to wear it as often as the black.

If your mum already has other black handbags, then definitely go for the Bordeaux. It's such a rich, beautiful shade. She will end up wearing it loads because it's such a versatile colour.

I have the Dark Bordeaux GST, so obviously I'm partial to that color. If your mom tends to wear black or neutral-colored clothing, I'd say that she should get the Bordeaux, especially since she has other black bags. If she wears a very colorful palette (e.g. pinks, oranges, greens), then she should stick with the Black.

The Dark Bordeaux is gorgeous, and gives a fresh twist to the classic GST.
