Can anyone explain the skull jewelry thing to me? :)

I like the skull motif as an accessory - its a little more 'rock & roll' than my classic pieces.
I don't see the skull as scary - more in keeping with how the Me&Ro girls see it - 'The skull is a reminder that all things will pass; there is wisdom in living in the face of such mortality and therefore, we should live fully and mindfully.'

That ring IS really cool! I can't wait for modeling pics if you do get it! I don't own a lot of skulls - just one and it happens to be on the clasp of my new wrap bracelet. I think it looks nice - I especially love the blingy rhinestone eyes Even though I am a VERY girly girl - all I wear are dresses and heels and I'm rarely ever in jeans, I am not at all repulsed by morbid things.

I wore my skull studs Friday after reading this, and the young man who helped me at MAC said "I like your earrings. Everyone here always wears boring earrings so I never get to comment on them." It kind of made my day!

I got this bracelet today. It's huge (like 9 inches) so I'll be disassmbling it later today and
remaking it..probably without the coral rose. Not that it isn't unique the way it is,
but it's a bit too much for me with it.

Actually, I think the rose makes it. I like it as the focal point and the skulls are the afterthought. I think if you take it out, you'll miss it
