I'm surprised she's out and about with apparently no makeup. Not that it's a bad thing but I think if I was a celeb and knew I might be photographed I'd be made-up when I went to town.

I like that she is not made up. She is being real and not spending hours in the makeup chair, just to go run errands. IMO, people like that are so fake and clearly seeking attention aka Kardashians

I saw a girl on the subway platform that had the most ridiculous looking falsies on and I kept wondering where is she going at 9am that putting the most glam false eyelashes were necessary. I barely have time for a shower in the morning...lol. I'm so over this whole drag makeup look everyone is sporting just to do basic things.

I don't think the average woman should ever be wearing false eyelashes that are obvious - unless it's a special occasion - a formal evening event. And even then, if they're obvious, then what's the point?

You mean the hood lashes lol? I cringe every time I see women with the hood eyelashes

Yeah, I guess I don't understand modern makeup. Or at least why young girls nowadays wear such heavy makeup....contouring, false eyelashes, really thick foundation....and in broad daylight too, just going about running errands. Why? The Kardashian influence? But they're on TV. I'm talking about the regular girls.

Youtube "gurus". I think there were a lot of people doing the Kim K smokey eye initially then it exploded into drag techniques. At this point, good luck finding a video that isn't full on drag makeup. It doesn't help that the makeup companies are catering to the trends and pushing products to keep this mess going. It's awful. But I've been seeing lots of 90s makeup tutorials pop up on my feed so maybe the trend will die soon.

These and the more natural makeup tutorials are starting to trend higher now. It's a relief. I'm more than a bit tired of seeing the other ones popup.

I think it´s kind of scary when a 15/16/17 year old girl looks like 35 (and then they smile and you see their braces)

I think everyone today (or many more than in the past) wants to be just like a star. Hence all the heavy makeup, cosmetic procedures, resulting in older women looking tragic with big fish lips, etc. I guess it has to do with social media at least in part.
Speaking of the Kardashians, the two surgeons on Botched were on WWHL and were asked what they thought of Kylie's lips. They said they look good but they have teenage daughters and they wouldn't allow them to have lip enhancement. Unfortunately, I do think that family is part of the problem.

Is this what you call full on drag?

yes, apparently she's comfortable in her own skin which is a good thing

ITA. She's real, comfortable in her own skin and confident in being herself.
