Funny that I just ran across this thread for the first time this morning and happened to see my first Cambridge Satchel about an hour later! A girl was walking into Trader Joe's right in front of me carrying a lime green one. Pretty but I could see how the flap would get annoying to access.
So since I recently returned the light brown (caramel) satchel to Bohemia because of the faulty leather tabs, I would like to get a replacement 
But I would like to try out this other site -- just torn between these two browns...what do you guys think? The lighter one or the darker one?

Fits everything I carry plus I still have a space for something else...big difference between the 11" and 15" isn't there

Totally didn't realise there was a thread on these. I've got the 15" batchel (satchel with handle) in black and embossed in silver with my initials. I think it was worth paying a bit more to get the top handle as I do use it a lot, especially when picking my bag up and putting it down.
IMO, Cambridge is the best brand for leather satchels, I hate the Zatchels, they look so cheap in comparison. I have used mine for college for 2 years now and it still looks great. It's been stuffed with heavy books every day and it has loosened up a bit over time. Only issue I've ever had is that it reaaally does smell of leather.
I'm going to get another soon to go out with and think I'll go with the 13" since the 11" is too small for me, probably going to go for pink or yellow. Urban Outfitters have non-leather satchels and the one I use is about the same size as the 13".

After reading it I found the leather satchel co's Facebook page. They answer emails and Facebook messages very promptly. They have posted pics of other bloggers who have raved about their wares (as well as the good customer service). I think it was the customer service and highly customizability (is that a word) that ultimately made me decide to order through them. Hopefully it will be worth it!
