does anyone have the fluro pink? im interested in something bright pink. i know this is a bit of a fad and would prefer to spend $200 rather than $1400 or something on a celine tote and i like bags that are cross body

Ahaha, quoting myself six months ago (this is why I never say never) because I'm now waiting on one; a gift from my lovely mother. I'm really excited for it to arrive! I'm still not convinced about the structured look or the buckle closure but the colours won me over. Don't suppose anybody would be so kind as to photograph what one of the larger satchels can fit inside? :flowers:

I have a 15" batchel in purple and they are pretty heavy and bulky, very stiff. I got stuck in a little rain and on the bottom of the flap it went bubbly.. Was not happy! Buckles are a pain and I only used to half do them up, now in a draw under my bed. They can't fit too much in as they are structured so don't stretch ifkwim. Didn't like that they don't have inside pockets! Just bought a The Bridge saddle type bag so hoping its going to be perfect for me, as I'm into the preppy vintage look :)

Hello ladies! I just got this cambridge satchel in neon orange a week ago, and I really like it! I was thinking of getting a pink one, but the store ran out of them when I arrived, so i just grabed this one! the color is a bit different in real life, it is brighter! Hope you like the pic and thank you for letting me share :)
well i personally think they are still on trend, and i really like when people wear their satchels as clutches.. and of course the bright neon colors will work well during spring and summer season! so go for it :graucho: i got a lot of compliments when i was wearing mine))

Interesting about your experience.

I have the 15-inch, red, backpack batchel and have had no problems with it. It arrived in November, I think it was, and I have dragged it to work every single day since I got it. It's stuffed with tons of papers and heavy books and no problems. And I'm fine with the buckles as I like buckles.

I got stuck in a rainstorm one day, back when I first got it, and no problems whatsoever. And I've been stuck in some light rain and still no problems.

It has also held up fine in the heat as it has been in the low to high 80s here, in L.A., off and on during the fall and winter months. We had a cool period for a short while, but it will go back to the high 70s to low 80 this week. I sometimes have to leave my backpack batchel in my car, in the heat, and it hasn't bubbled, melted, color-bled, or changed shape.

I bought the 15-inch, purple, batchel for a family member who lives out-of-state in a cold, rainy, snowy climate and there haven't been any reported problems with it.

Hi ladies, I wanted to share my purchases tonight. I actually saw some people wearing these satchels and it was love at first sight! I looked around for them and thought they were probably expensive ($1,000+). When I found out how much cheaper they were, I could help but buy both the neon pink and yellow!

Both of these are the 11 inches, however I'm going to exchange the yellow one tomorrow for a larger size so that I can wear it as a oversized clutch :graucho:

I really want to order an 11" in either Red or Black, or maybe even the Navy. I want to have my initials embossed on it as well. However, I have never seen these bags in person and one of the stores that the website says they sell them at had none at all. I was hoping to check it out before ordering online. There are only 2 stores in Los Angeles that were even on the store list! I'm just kind of worried about ordering it online and then having my initials on the bag, because then for sure I couldn't sell if I wound up not liking it.

Ahh, I dunno!!! Seems like everyone loves them though, right? Is the red a bright orangey red in person, or is it a deeper red with blue undertones? I prefer when it's brighter...

Should I just go for it? I'd like to buy one for myself since my birthday is coming up next month :smile1: I probably wouldn't even receive it till like April though, grr!

Wow that pink one is super duper cute!!! I really want an 11". Would you say that size is definitely only for nights and days where you really don't need to carry much? What can you really fit in this size?

You can't really fit too much in the 11 inch satchel as the bag is not very wide. I can fit my kindle (with cover), a thin wallet and my iphone... I'll definitely need to upgrade my yellow one to a 13 inch size!

The 11" sounds perfect for me because I do have a Proenza Schouler medium PS1 that is perfect for everyday and they are similar in style.

I have decided to either get a BLACK one or a NAVY. I really don't know which one to choose! :sweatdrop: I'm thinking to put my initials in silver to match the hardware.

Anyone have a NAVY one and can comment? Is it really dark dark navy because I love when it's super dark, almost black.

I saw one of the Fluro ones for the first time on Pinterest and fell instantly in love with it. Unfortunately I need to carry something that is light and has a lot of room since I still end up carrying lots of stuff for my toddler. And no leather for awhile because anything I carry needs to be wipeable. Still LOVE those Fluro colors and also the Batchel with the little handle on top, but I don't think you can get that one in the Fluro colors.
