I'm looking to buy my first Cambridge Satchel next Saturday at A2zane in Toronto, I think it's a bit cheaper there..not sure though because I don't know the price at Holt Renfrew
But anyways the prices at A2zane for the satchels:
11"- $145
13"- $160
15"- $185
Designers are $200

Debating if I should get the 11" or 13" yellow fluor
Help?

I prefer the 11" inch. Since the color is so bright, it might be too much in a larger size. :smile1:

Heather 123: the Moroccan Bazaar satchel is great. They have a magnetic button closure disguised by buckles so you don't have to leave the buckles undone to get in and out quickly. The leather is gorgeous and will look better with age. I sprayed it with waterproof spray and there was no damage. Also, they are not as big and stiff like the Cambridge bags. The MB bags are just big enough to hold an ipad (to give you an idea of size) and hold a fair bit of odds and sods.

Thank you so much, Daisyinbloom :smile1: I was very impressed by these bags on the website but didn't find as much info there as I would have liked. Having read your review I'm keen to order one now, but I'm going away for a week soon so I might wait until after I get back.

I just went to A2Zane today. my first time, really cool shop! I bought the 15" in Kelly green, not the fluoro version...
I love it, I also noticed the prices were less expensive there, but I think being an independent store they don't have the overhead costs that holts does so they can keep the price down a bit:smile1:
I met the owner too, really nice guy. Did you end up getting your bag at A2Zane?

I have to admit that they ended up answering my status queries within 3 business days. Then sometime last week, I received an email that my order had been dispatched. I ordered this on the night of the royal wedding, which was April 29? So its been a long wait. Id almost forgotten about it.

I am very happy with it though. I love the bright neon yellow and especially love the embossing so it feels extra personal.

Please excuse the photo quality, ive had to take this with my iphone and this is no way shows the true colour, its the crappy lighting as its night time here. Im hoping to do some action shot when I finally use her.

Has anyone else received theirs? Id love to see some pics.

I've got one awhile ago. I discovered one day that you really have to make sure that the bag doesn't get wet! The 'paint' sorta starts getting bubbly, and lifts up if you even touch it.
I called them to ask for a refund/exchange, but they were pretty rude about it, saying that since I've got it embossed, there's nothing they could do.
I'm not sure the lifting/peeling issue is only for my bag. Just thought I'd put it out there!

I've had a 15-inch, red, backpack batchel since November and have had no problems with it. One day I got caught in a rain storm and it was soaking wet and still no problems. I've used it every day, at work, since I received it.
