My first gator one! Love it so far  I also saw a bougainvillea gator one when I was there but graphite has my heart! What color is yours and what are you thinking of getting next? :graucho:
It is right above yours, comment #571. Bleu Electrique. I bought it pre-loved, but it was in mint condition. I have 6 others but only one gator. I would love to find one in your color. Bougainvillea sounds dreamy!! It feels so good in my hand.

I've finally taken the plunge and brought my 1st Calvi...its this one:
the sailor tattoo one :happydance:
I decided to go for that because I love the sea...its my happy place and the colour combo made me think of sunny days and blue sea and sky.
I love the pop of yellow when you open it up.
I'm very much looking forward to using it-as since covid I dont carry cash so its ideal as my wallet has been lying dormant and I've been putting my cards in an ancient card case.

I'm so happy for you- that one is a beauty, and if it makes you happy every time you look at it, so much the better. I love my calvis and now even more, for just the reasons you gave. Watch out- they are VERY addicting!

Many thanks to everyone sharing information about their different Calvis here- and for the inspirational pics.

A question, is there a lot of difference between chèvre Mysore and chèvre Chamkila when it comes to durability/wear and tear? I was going to buy a Calvi in Epsom because it seemed the "properest" thing to do, but after reading here I'm not so sure it's necessary?

There are two versions of the Anémone Calvi on the EU website right now, chèvre Mysore and chèvre Chamkila, and I have no idea which to choose. We've just moved so am in a bit of moving box chaos at the moment and do not feel up to going to a store to ask about the difference between them. I appreciate any opinion or recommendation on this.

Cross-posting the same thing that I posted in the hermes.com thread before - looks like you can do personalized calvis (and basitas)! You can choose leather, colors, engravings, ...

They are currently available online at Hermes.com France, and I hope they become available elsewhere too, I would love one.

Oh wow!!! This could be very dangerous indeed  -I love the idea of choosing my own colour combo's.
If they launch it in the UK I'll have to find the thread for what what people keep in their Calvi and Bastia's to find an excuse to order one
