oh awesome! Do you find the colour works well?? My husband made doubt the choice when he said the colour is manly - But then reneged on his comment when he saw I had second thoughts!

I take it back now! The colour is great. I chose it partly because it's Epsom and didn't want to worry about durability. Even though this forum has made be understand it's not a huge issue but it makes me less afraid. And the colour works well, particularly in the day time. Thanks for all of your input into my indecision!

Bleu Zanzibar is a good colour in the sense that it is slightly sharp - but not so sharp that it's neon-level ;)

It works well in my opinion, as I appreciate being able to easily locate it inside bags that have dark colour interiors - but don't have to baby the piece much.

Can't imagine getting one in white (too high maintenance) O_____O

im with you on that. It’s bright enough where you find it and enjoy the colour but you don’t have to baby it. It could have been my own nerves but it’s why I didn’t by capucine in evercolour. Everyone says it’s durable and fine. But I’ve had Apple iPhone leather colours that patina into a dark shade when it’s a bright colour, I don’t see why it wouldn’t with a calvi.

Do you keep your calvi in your pocket? If yes, then I can see the resistance towards evercolor. I actually like having calvis of different leathers and colors so I can grab them in my bag (a sea of SLGs) by feel and color. My evercolor verso is still one of my favorites (malachite/bleu atoll) and it's one of my most used ones. But I never put my calvis in my jean pockets, they're always in a bag or my jacket/coat pocket.

Yes, they are tougher than you think and stays in shape.

@skybluesky @pillsandpurses @PJW5813 After waiting on this order, it's finally here - so excited! My Barenia Calvi Pop with orange poppy interior  That barenia smell is no joke - so luxurious!

So... I realize I have more Calvis than I can logically use (I really love them, I can't stop myself!). So taking a poll: what besides cards/cash do you use your Calvi for? The more creative the better!
Calvis are seriously addictive and I've a dozen now! I put toothpicks and bandages as well as handwipes.

yes I do but generally not if I’m wearing denim. I don’t even put light coloured apple leather cases in my denim pockets unless it’s a dark colour leather. Don’t get me wrong I know leather develops a patina and it can look beautiful when it does but colour transfer from denim just looks dirty and I don’t like that. If I had a light colour evercolour I’d be afraid of that.

@peonies13 I know this is a bit of a reach, but I started putting my hair ties (the circle ones) in my calvis! I probably will start putting bobbi pins in there too, since whenever I take them out I tend to just lose them.

Sometimes I keep a few of the individually wrapped toothpicks I get from restaurants, but I don't want the pointy ends to damage the calvi. Maybe it's time for me to get an epsom calvi.

Yeah, I get what you mean. My jeans get color transfer on a lot of things. I still think evercolor is a great leather, maybe a dark evercolor is in your future.

Not a reach at all! I put a hair tie in mine sometimes too :) Someone mentioned using it for house/car keys... ever done that?
