13E4D1B6-42C5-4983-96F3-0451374B7596.jpeg Got my first Hermès item today. And i was very lucky that they had the color i want which is the color abricot. And it is also in epsom . Its literally the best color to start my hermès collection. i needed to hold myself bc i was almost going to buy the belt and the perfume. thank you guys for the advice
PS: the pic doesn’t give justice of how the color really pops . Hopefully you like it
i was surprise how louis vuitton treat their customers. i was there to look at the monogram eclipse pocket organizer again and not even one SA there said hello or asked me what i am looking for. Anyways, thankful for what they did because now i know where to spend my money and that will be on hermès. FOREVER. The way they greeted and treated me was just phenomenal. If you’re ever in Cologne Germany DO NOT GO THE LV STORE THERE.

Yayyy carry it in good health! The Calvi might be my favorite H item ever. It’s such a simple design, but very useful and comes in so many good colors. I use mine every day.

I carry cash and cards in my Calvi. These days no one needs a lot of cash. My Calvi currently hold four US bills folded, seven plastic cards (CCs, museum cards, APEC, etc) and six paper cards (loyalty cards, other memberships) and I'd say it's as full as I would want it to be, meaning not overstuffed. It could hold lots more. If you only have three cards (wow!) you can put in more cash.
The Calvi plus contactless pay has completely replaced my wallet.
Sweet! Do you find the Calvi with that many cards pops up (wings up) at the corners when full? I saw a video review and it looked awkward when full. Any chance you'd post a few photos?

After reading all the comments on this thread I decided to try a Calvi in an effort to lighten and downsize what I carry every day. Thanks to all who posted on this thread! The Calvi really is so handy to have! But after reading all the pros and cons for the different leathers I decided to do my own mini experiment. I’m going to switch between these 4 over the next year and give each one equal carrying time and see which leather holds up the best. Maybe a year won’t be long enough to see much of a difference but I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

What are your thoughts on madame leather so far? how does it compare to epsom

I can see the grains are finer than epsom

Too early to tell on how it will wear but comparing the Madame to the Epsom, aside from the tighter grain you noted, the Madame actually seems stiffer and doesn’t bend as easily as the Epsom. It also feels a touch heavier than the Epsom.

Would love to read and see photos of the outcome. I haven’t had mine for very long and I am reasonably careful by my standards, and cannot see any wear at all. One thing I’d say is light colours may get a little grabby...

About to make the switch from a regular wallet to 2 Calvis (one for "extra" cards, one for my main cards) but hesitant because things slide when not jammed full... how do you all prevent cards from sliding out when you open it? OR is there another much-loved H cardholder?
