hi there. I'm looking for a chanel jumbo beige clair in caviar and silver hardware (like new condition). I live in Canada usually buy brand new from boutiques, but with the recent increase in chanel prices (25% for classic flaps = 10k CAD!) , I'm venturing into pre-loved. Has anyone used timelesslikeaudrey on instagram? She's been quite responsive and told me she is getting one in later this week. Any other recommendations where I can find this beige clair I desperately want?

There are several good ones you can try. Timeless like Audrey is definitely reliable, Vluxstyle, CocoApproved, Mirena_fashionlover, Timeless Vogue, Timeless Luxuries among others. I don't know if any of them have what you are looking for right now as stock is being snapped up quickly even from resellers. But you could always inquire.

Thank you for those recommendations. CocoApproved happened to have the bag I am looking for and I just purchased it - should get it later this week! Thanks again!

Does anyone have recent reviews for looking_for_luxe? She seems reputable and I read good feedback on here but will only take transfer, not PayPal G&S, was looking fir anyone who did pay via transfer with no issues please. Thanks so much.

Hi everyone. Has anyone ever heard of or purchased anything from chl_couture On Instagram?

I just made a recent purchase with her (first purchase) after doing my own research. I live in the US and prefer to buy from here (avoid international shipping). I usually don't buy from instagram (resellers and personal shoppers). However, the bag that I want was sold out everywhere. She's very professional and responsive in messages. I was impressed because she was probably very busy with everyone panic buy before price going up (Chanel). She sent so many pictures for me to review. Bag arrived very fast (I paid $56 for FedEx Express 2 Day) and beautifully wrapped even with ribbon & camelia. Bag was advertised as brand new with tag and that's what I got. I would totally do business with her again.

Hi everyone -- i'm a new member and this is my first post. Since I used this thread as a jumping off point to find a good shopper, I thought I share my first ever experience on buying through a Personal Shopper on IG. My search started with the two popular accounts Threads Styling (ig: threadsstyling) and Gabriel Waller (ig: gabwallerdotcom). The ladies who replied on there were really nice but they didn't have the item I was searching for. However, it seems like they have a great reputation even among celebrities. I then found Andrea (ig: mireyna_fashionlover) and she did have the item I was looking for. I'm not sure if this is always the case but she couldn't send me pictures of the item as she didn't have them in her possession. In addition, she couldn't tell me which boutique or even country she's sourcing from. I was hoping she would be able to send a picture of the item when her shopper goes out to source another order but then I think she lost patience and simply ended the conversation that she, in summary, 'understands that I don't trust her.' As this is my first time ever using IG (which I mentioned to her), I was hoping that she would be understanding of my questions and as a seller, she would put my mind at ease. Nevertheless, I found another personal shopper in Australia who was able to answer all my questions and send me photos of everything requested. I won't mention who I ended up purchasing from because I don't want this post to be seen as anything other than sharing my experience. I just hope that my post is helpful in letting others know that it's okay to feel cautious and ask questions, especially with high priced items and you shouldn't feel bad about inquiring because trust is not just given. I'm sure personal shoppers are all busy and inundated with requests during a time when we can't go to boutiques ourselves. Maybe it was an off day for Andrea or she has enough repeat clients but I was disappointed with my experience with her.

Hi guys, I just wanna do a PSA that @luxedepartments is a scammer!!! Please report her to Instagram! I recently transacted with her cos she had something that I want and after the money got transferred, she said the current bag in store wasn’t in perfect condition so they’re transferring a new one from another city. On the day the bag is supposed to arrive, she ignored my texts and blocked me the next morning. Looking back I should have known better but if anyone has any experience getting back money from such scammers please help!!! I have screenshots of our conversation before she deleted! Thank you so much in advance :(

Thank you for sharing your experience. I totally understand where you are coming from. I am new to pre-loved market and using IG shoppers/consignors etc.. I used to buy 100% from boutiques because I am very paranoid about getting scammed. However, with the recent price increases, I wanted to explore the resale via IG market but didn't know who to trust. So I joined this thread (just last week) and within a few days based on referrals to reputable legit IG sellers here, I found the exact chanel bag I was looking for at a great price which arrived just today! But believe me, I grilled and asked all the questions as it was my first time and it is our right to do so. Any seller should appreciate your questions!
