Buying off Instagram | Instagram Sellers

Hi everyone. Just putting a warning out there. @shopexpensivehabits on Instagram is a scammer! A friend of mine wanted to purchase the chanel pearl bag from her. Paypal didn't work, so the seller asked to pay through apple pay. She was sent an invoice and my friend paid her through apple pay. She was even given a confirmation that the payment was received and then never gave any info on shipping. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. She has ignored all messages and emails from her and I don't want anyone else to get scammed by her!
Scary!!!

Hi all, I would suggest to avoid buying from user @lux.by.pll. Their page looks really suspicious, as they release tons of bags on one day, and no one comments on them-- makes me think no sales. I tried to buy a Chanel bag from them and they kept accusing me of being "fake". The name in their email doesn't match up with the name in their bank account. When I apologized and said that I feel unsure about the security of the transaction, they called me "FAKE and FRAUDULENT" even though I gave them a verified PayPal account and address. They then blocked me. (I know it shouldn't matter, but that made me feel really bad!)
Also would suggest to avoid user @shopexpensivehabits. They have the same patterns in their profile, and they highly recommended lux.by.pll when I sent them a message about purchasing the same bag through them.
I may be paranoid, but I just wanted to let you all know! I tried searching for both of them online, and I found nothing.

Not sure if u saw my reply. I actually just got scammed by this user. 2 days before u posted this. I'm pretty sure expensivehabits is also their account on ig.

I almost got scammed by them as well, the seller was very convincing. I am not sure how she was able to obtain the photos they use this to all the shoppers out there who are looking to purchase a pre loved bag on instagram please be careful. Even her reviews are fake. She took reviews from legit sellers and posted them on her story pretending to be hers. She tried to tell me she accepted paypal goods and services, but when I tried to pay the payment never went through and she then tried to convince me to use TW, which I did. I then asked her to send me more pics so I could get it authenticated, she had gotten so mad at me for asking for more pictures, I was too sketched out so I had canceled the transfer afterwards! Ughhhh somebody get their account banned!!!

Omgg. I'm glad you dodge her!!!

I was surprised to see this post. I thought I was the minority; most people love her. But all of your comments are 100% accurate and are what I experienced. She does not have any help which is why she is overwhelmed and can't respond to DMs and Instagram messages. She lives most of the time in London. I believe she does that in order to source the bags in Europe (they are much cheaper to purchase there) and then turnaround and sell them in the U.S. for a profit. She is dishonest. She sold me a Chanel bag for $5,000. I later found out that she purchased it on Fashionphile for about half the price. Then turned around and sold it to me for $5,000 and told me it came from one of her good clients. I stopped doing business with her.

Wow how did you find out? Did you confront her?

just wondering if anyone bought from her?
She is legit, but not very nice - only imo ... I considered an classic flap from her and was not sure about the color...especially the exact tone. Told her I need more time to research the color tone. Next morning I told her, that I pass, because I am not convinced regarding the color...she answered „no problem“ and then blocked me!!‘ so rude

When I decided to sell it (she and her cronie basically coerced me in to buying it), I sought out a couple of other local consignors. When I contacted one of them, she knew Julia well. And when I sent her pics of the bag, she knew it straight away. And said to me, "oh, this is the bag Julia bought on FP for $2900!" And then proceeded to tell me that she didn't feel right about consigning it for me knowing that Julia had bought it for $2900. All of sudden this other consignor grew a conscience. Overnight. Many of the buyers on IG and the Facebook groups forget that these consignors don't authenticate! They are not like Fashionphile or Anns Fabulous Finds.
