I had an experience before with Michelle Jessica -designerpawn.com and PM'ed her the link of the website of the bag that I was planning to buy and asked her if she can pre- check if it safe, and she told me it looks promising but needed detailed picture, I bought the item and when I received it I submitted all the photos and had her authenticated it.

TY so much for your reply!! I bought one item from an IG seller a couple of months ago, but didn't authenticate it. Since I am thinking of buying a bag, I am more worried about getting a fake. I had only bought (a few items) from the store before starting to buy off IG and I have no experience of getting something authenticated yet. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me!
You are welcome, I can empathize , I was also very concerned & scared about buying preloved before too, because of fear of super fakes, so far I have bought only on Fashionphile and Rebag, and I have authenticated again when I received it, sometimes I used the one hour option from Real Authentication and Legit Grails when I want the answer asap.

Anyone buy anything from @luxxedition? They consistently update their inventory and do seem to have the lowest prices for caviar I've found but I'm still a little wary.

I’ve purchased from Jaz (rue street) and was really easy and smooth. Answered questions, sent lots of photos and quick shipping. I purchased Cartier, so not sure if the experience would be different with a bag.

Can you tell me how this worked out? They only accept visa/mastercard, no Amex,no PayPal. And they ship via DHL but don't offer parcel insurance and say to buy insurance from Secursus...I've never heard of that before and wondering if this is a red flag..
I used Wise and transferred the payment to them - I can’t remember if credit card payment was an option when I bought from them last year. Yes, I purchased insurance from Secursus as well. It’s a package insurance provider and I have used them for purchases from other resellers.
They have a showroom in Singapore which I visited in person for my first purchase and then I purchased a second time later in the year and they shipped via DHL.

I have purchased from luxloversmelb, albeit for an Hermes bag charm, the transaction was smooth. I did also consider buying a Birkin from them another time but was put off after I asked to see further pictures, and the pictures they sent me revealed defects not mentioned in the original listing (popped stitches on both sides of the bag!) - so maybe just ask for extra pictures and be sure beforehand.
