I'm curious as to why the blame put on you when you never received your bag? I thought it's always the seller's responsibility to get the bag safely to the buyer. Was insurance bought on this bag and how did you pay? If it was via PayPal invoice you can open a case with PayPal for item not received.

Seeking advice please... I‘ve been ISO a hard to find Chanel bag for months, and came across one through an Instagram seller that someone recommended. First red flag with the seller is bank transfer only for payment, but i am trying to push PayPal. Second is no returns. third is it took her 2-3 days to give me the pics I requested for authentication, which someone on TPF pointed out could be sketchy. I posted the pics here (waiting for authentication) and I also paid for auth service from Lollipuff who said it’s authentic. But now I’m scared that b/c of the wait on the photos, they might be stolen photos and that I’ll be sent a different bag which I can’t return.

maybe I’m being overly paranoid but I’m torn. I’ll only purchase if I can buy through PayPal so there’s at least some protection, but if it turns out to be a scam, will I have any recourse?

Bank Transfer, while scary if you don't know the seller is not necessarily a red flag. Most PS do not use PayPal anymore because PP can be ridiculous if they have a problem with a buyer and they don't want to deal with it. Most PS will not take a return so again, can be nerve-racking but not necessarily a red flag. Seller could have been a bit busy and that's why the delay for photos.I understand being anxious overs such purchases, so why don't you tell us who the seller is? Maybe the ladies on the forum have experience with them that could ease your mind.

thanks lallybelle. Seller is mycocochanelcloset and liyaluxuries.

also, would you have any suggestions for a different payment method that I can offer her? i’ve seen so many unfortunate stories on this forum about transactions with bank transfers I really don’t feel comfortable paying that way.

I don't really. Most take transferwise,zelle,venmo, PP F&F etc and I believe those types of services are akin to a bank transfer in that they don't offer the same protections as say PP Invoiced would. I stick to a few well known ones that I have faith in for these reasons.

I'm sorry, I don't know the sellers you are dealing with, maybe some can chime in with their experience. God luck! :)

Yes my friends and I call her “the witch” because she sells all bags in record time she must be doing magic! No disrespect intended we love her! Last time I sent her something she posted it within a week but I think she’s backlogged at the moment and it may take a few weeks.

I bought a bag from her 2 months ago and the transaction was very smooth. Also asked for feedback on her in fb as well and did not see any complaints. Hope it helps! I paid with transferwise

Hello beautiful ladies,
I wanted to share my Instagram shopping experience with personal shopper @thedesignercut!
I had just recently purchased an 2019 iridescent blue medium o-case from her. She is such a wonderful being and very patient with the questions I had asked about the item. Provided plenty of photos and videos too! Shipping was very quick and everything was packaged neatly from the boutique! Receipt, authenticity card, and tags were all included.
Highly recommend her and her services! :)
