y'all are too funny! I could only imagine! but I can relate with the :ninja: army I have to hide when DH returns---you see-DH loves me to death- he appreciates the bags I have too- but he never knows how much they are! That'd be silly to tell him! I take care of finances- we both care about each other's happiness. To him purses are the same thing as guns and camping to him. There's ALWAYS a trade off. He knows what he wants and he knows what I want

"You probably splurged on something *I* didn't know about at one point or another... so we're even."

Lucky for me, my DH just bought a brand new Triumph motorcycle this summer. So, when my Birkin comes in (hopefully in 2008), he'll have nothing to say. If he does...he'll get a boot up the tush!

current method: being totally open and tell him right on the spot. BUT my latest shopping extravaganza did cause a few wrinkles on DH's forehead.

possible future method: stash the goods, wait a couple months and THEN show him!
