Does anyone know what the colour of these vintage-trenches is? I guess they don't make them in this colour anymore...
The stone isn’t too light to me... it probably looks less light than the picture. I chose pictures where there was an ivory shirt underneath so you could see the difference?
It does tend to morphe in different lighting.
But you don’t sound like you want the stone color, if you are worrying this much about it’s lightness? There are a lot of pictures online!
If you are having doubts, it’s probably better to get the classic honey color. Better yet, get yourself to a store and look at what is available now.

Actually the taupe seems to have more red undertones. There’s 2 other shades on canadian website - biscuit and driftwood. They are close enough but not quite.I can't see one in taupe but perhaps there is not ervery colour available on the german site.

I googled vintage trench and saw beige as well as khaki shades that look very similar.
I can't find it on the site...they have something called "bisquit" but in the pics it looks the same as honey (what is also available for this specific coat). Weird.
Sorry, just saw your message. I think they don’t sell it anymore since new creative director came in.
Do you have a Burberry outlet near you? I thought I saw a stone color at an outlet recently.
