In my case.....when searching chrome for Louis Vuitton Bumbag....it still takes me it, but when search in US site it's gone.
On another note....got tired of stalking the website and app, so purchased the LOL edition from 24s. Got to E. coast in 2 days.
Hubby and DD loves it too!

Just read every single comment on this thread. My SA told me it is discontinued and zero stock in Canada and I see zero stock in the US. I did see one come up online, but I was unable to check out. It went from “out of stock” status to “no information available” on the site. I think it is indeed discontinued and maybe those are returns? I wanted this bag since the day it came out, but was never in a rush as I always had another expense or another limited purse to get- no rush since it would always be there. The price increases also made me not want it (almost double from the original price!) but This got me on a hunt and I got a pre loved one Today. Can’t wait for it to arrive. I haven’t heard anyone complain about it, so I can’t speak on the mal functions / repairs on it.

The prices are CRAZY for preloved. I too waited until the last minute and was able to score one in March. My plan b would've been the LOL bag on the 24S site, so that's another option for you, although not the traditional monogram.
The honest truth is as follows: this bag is plagued with problems and they are barely lasting 1-2 years with heavy use, which is not in line with LV standards and expectations. Therefore, they are no longer in production. Should this item remain in production, it will be VERY limited so they have less in circulation.
i have 2 friends that have it and they are absolutely in love with it. They are bag girls as well so they have many in rotation so I can’t see them wearing it out yet and they do baby their bags. I got one below the current retail (!!!!) so I bought it. It’s a bit used, has some patina, but I’m ok with that given the price. Please post issues with this bag. It seems like it’s only those cracks on the back zipper part That’s the issue?
I wish I got it 4 years ago, but here we are! I also agree that they will come up with a new, more expensive design. I don’t see bum bags going anywhere for a while.

I have heard about the canvas having issues, but not the empreinte so why would they discontinue both? Also, you stated that it is no longer in production and then said "should this item remain in production, it will be VERY limited". There is confusion as to whether or not it is discontinued. At the time I ordered mine, I was told by my CA that it was in "very limited production as it is being discontinued very soon".

I think there was more confusion at the start of this news as I find most LV customer service to be horrible and not very knowledgeable. Now that it’s past April 1, SA are all saying it’s discontinued and it’s also gone from the website
I agree. I believed it was going to be discontinued when my CA said it would be. I think Madrye28 works for LV and I responded to them hoping to get clarification. I'm thrilled I was able to get it and am not concerned about potential issues with wear. LV has always worked with me if I had an issue. Seems like the cracks but the zipper or where the strap meets the bag are hit and miss?
Sorry for any confusion. As of late, inventory has been close to zero every day. Either they are clearing out the remaining inventory, or it’s extremely limited in production. Still nothing definitive. Either way, scoring this piece is a shot in the dark.
I just received my MWT bumbag about a month ago. Hearing about the issues some have had with the bag, I took my chances and purchased it because I predict it will be redesigned and sold for a higher price.
I’m wondering for the bumbag owners on here who has had issues and how long did you own the bag when they occurred? Did you baby your bag or not at all?Unfortunately, I find myself babying my bag in hopes of preventing issues such as not packing it too heavy to not have the bag pull so much at the stress points when being worn. Also, when not in use I make sure it’s not folded at the stress points as well.. I saw that tip on youtube.
