Figured as much. So back to my previous statement. The bumbag has officially been removed from the US LV site. My SA said perhaps they will come out with a leather alternative but monogram has been discontinued for good.

Update: I took the split tab into LV and they said it would be a $120 charge due to wear and tear. It might have been complimentary if it was within a year or 2. (Bag is from 2018). I didn’t do it because they wouldn’t be gluing it back together- they would replace the tab and the rest of the bag has slight patina, the colour difference smack dab in the middle would annoy me. Plus the charge and 6-8 weeks to get it returned back to me.
I addressed the one stitch imperfection and the reply was “humans aren’t perfect,” with a slight shrug/ eye roll. I said my other bags are perfect and she just said that’s the way it is.
The SA’s reply to the bag being discontinued was “It’s not a classic, it was a trend and we have moved on.”

Does anyone have their bag that has been used a lot? They said it’s not “defective” so that’s why there is a charge. But I don’t see this splitting as a common issue. She told me to just save my money and glue it back together myself lol
Based on the for previous posts, you PURCHASED it second hand knowing of this damage and were probably charged less due to this damage. Now you want LV to fix it for free or replace it for you as a defect? Am I understanding this correctly?!?
No you aren’t. And you are clearly rude. I know the person I bought it from. What difference does it make if her or I take it in for a repair? I don’t know if it’s a defect or due to use HENCE me asking others as only the zipper cracks have been addressed. And yes, LV isn’t consistent on their repairs - sometimes you have ti pay for it and sometimes you don’t. Nothing wrong with inquiring on a luxury item someone paid a lot of money for.
No one asked for a replacement. Not sure what you are reading. I was asking for it to be glued back together.

Literally on the hunt for it now...I'm so mad at myself I went into the LV store in the Saks 5th Ave in Boston a few weeks ago to purchase another bag and they had one in stock! I should of grabbed it ugh I guess I have to just wait to see if a newer version is released
