Somehow I’ve never liked Michael Kors...it’s just too “everywhere.” I can’t speak for its main line, but the diffusion bag line seems copycat and soulless to me. Just my opinion.

Years ago somebody gifted me a really beautiful mainline MK bag, I still love the bag but don't use it anymore, simply because everywhere you look there is the diffusion line or a fake bag.

They say mk is a legit copycat of other designers. They actually improved the design of a particular designer. Example, they have a bag similar to the neverfull but theirs had zipper. Or lv bosphore but theirs have straps on opposite ends which makes it better than the original.

I dislike most of the popular LVs too, simply because of the total overload of labels (with MK you can at least take the metal MK off) nothing against the bags, but I always feel I am a walking billboard for them.

I understand. I know a lot of people who thinks that those with the name all over is tacky. Its nice to have a bag appreciated for its beauty and not because of its brand name. I borrowed my sisters givenchy bag one day. It was a bright red patent leather bag, really shiny red one. I tried using it for a party and then my husband told me " why are you using that ugly bag? Its so red and the ugliest bag ive seen!" And i told him but it is givenchy and he said " doesnt matter. It is still ugly! Lol. And he seldom pays attention to my bags. He likes my Lv favorite on me.

My husband called my deceased Birkin an "eyesore" and considers almost every bag ugly, the only one he really likes is a Harris Tweet cross body bag. On some occasions he made attempts to buy me a bag, we decided it is really not a good idea...

He told me his opinion on my bag should matter because at times he carries my bag lol. You should see him holding my speedy while i used the washroom. Lol

Chanel.... the prices for everything are just.... too much. It's horrendously overpriced

Stella McCartney - sorry but I tried on two of her cashmere jumpers and her clothes just don't fit me. They were huge. would never ever pay for any of her bags or clothing. I can get better brands for that price who offer natural materials.

Vivienne Westwood - how did she become a designer again?

Emporio Armani - worst quality I ever had from any brand, including fast fashion. Just awful. Had a suit, shirt and pair of shoes... never again

Prada... their bags are just so fugly and clothes are nothing special. Not my style I guess.

Balmain - just don't like their style. Nothing interesting I found in the house yet.

Escada - I find everything they make very, very fugly. I am being nice here. The prices are horrendous too. Just a no from me.

I haven’t read through this whole thread, so someone may have already mentioned this: James Perse! So overpriced for basics and not great quality. TShirts got holes and stretched out within a few wears, sweaters pilled. Never again!
