Some of the ones I never look at (some are only UK based)

River Island
Stradivarius
OASIS
Forever 21
Assos

Such a sea of polyester, acrylic and generally thoughtless, unwearable designs, clothes that itch and flatter no one.
Here is an honest review for Assos:

River Island used to do nice jeans, a few years ago, but all the brands are a bit throw away, Oasis has the occasional nice item, Asos too, but I miss them because their general stuff is usually the total bling overload.

Another designer I find very overrated is Vivienne Westwood, the quality is just not there and while some of the stuff looks nice, that's usually where she just "borrowed" the ideas of others.

Oh boy....

Fast fashion has already been covered here, so no need to mention it.

I try my damn hardest to like Louis Vuitton and am considering buying a limited edition bag. But monogram? Y U C K. Don't get me started on monogram boots... ugly!

Burberry. Sure, maybe I'll buy a trench coat in a couple of years. But the quality is shocking, I have a jumper with a hole in it and smells like petrol.

Marc Jacobs. Don't like the direction the brand is going in, and embellished items feel cheap. If you guys think Michael Kors is bad, well...

Vivienne Westwood: Most shocking quality EVER for a designer. It's appalling.

Review. An Australian brand, where it is pricey (imo) and the fabric deprecates and distorts. Really cheap quality, although I do like their coats.

Mimco. Popular down under. $500 for a tacky made in China bag. Nup, not a fan.

Alot of David Jones / Myer brands. Australia, please up your fashion game.

Any brand that is supposedly minimally mid-market yet relies on liberal use of synthetics! So very disappointed with Banana, Hope and JCrew; rayon mixed with cotton or wool = pills in piles. Glad I purchased enough of your t-shirts before they quality took a dive and you discontinued the cotton Jackie cardigan. I love you Ulla Johnson, however, the thread count is a bit low in your products hence I'll continue loyalty to Sea NY considering they have a similar price point. No Cole Haan, you commenced production of shoes in South America yet maintained your price point. No No No to all the shoe designers who haven't half-sizes, that means you are operating on a shoestring budget and perhaps don't really have solid investors, otherwise you'd offer half-sizes ;-). Smythe what gives, seriously you finally offer your blazers online, yet they are no longer 100% natural fibres...blah. I'm shopping Dondup considering they work for someone with a taller, shapely yet slender frame and mostly use 100% natural fibres. Ok Altuzarra, first you skimped on the vented sleeves for your blazers then you moved from 100% natural fibres to 100% synthetic without adjusting your price point which is rather high;-(.

I've just learned to look at labels carefully, I don't mind spending a little more for something if it's a better (natural) fabric and/or not made in the Third World, but I'm not paying a premium price for something made of polyester and made in China. Nothing wrong with that at all; I just don't want to pay a lot for it. I also don't understand paying a premium for "vegan leather" aka pleather.

I also think that some brands, like Stella McCartney, charge way too much for vegan leather.

As of late, I've noticed Wool/cotton and other materials...What is 'other' materials? I don't mind the synthetics in technopants or the lycra/spandex added to cotton or wool to give a bit of stretch. Like you, I check the label and move on if the label is packed with synthetics, unreasonable price point and poor quality production.

Somehow I’ve never liked Michael Kors...it’s just too “everywhere.” I can’t speak for its main line, but the diffusion bag line seems copycat and soulless to me. Just my opinion.

I used to love Kate Spade back in the day, but the brand hasn’t been the same since the Coach takeover. The updated designs are not my style.

I don’t love most monogram designs, though I don’t dislike LV or Coach overall. I admit I came close to getting an MCM bag earlier this year, however, but the texture of the bag turned me off.

Never understood the appeal of Goyard. Not trying to be rude, but I’m just not feeling those bags.

Also not a fan of the quality of Rebecca Minkoff bags.

I was very hesitant to get a Stella McCartney crossbody (the price for non-leather!), but I bit the bullet when there was a sale. No regrets as the quality is fantastic and I love the heavy chain feel. The inner faux leather lining is superb too with a soft and creamy texture—not cheap or plasticky. Not sure why people would bag on Stella’s “pleather” prices if others are paying a premium anyway for coated canvas bags...just saying.
