it's quite true - i sell appliances and our markup on regular priced items is usually about 25% over what we pay for the product, and that's considered ridiculously LOW in retail. i know of stuff out there that has a 98% markup - ethernet cords, cell phone chargers, etc. i can only imagine what it is for bags :cry:
