Box shortage ?!

I have questions:
1. Do you think that it's your SA who sent a box or does the store manage the list of clients who they owed the boxes?
2. Was it an empty box or did they fold the papers in the same way they usually do when they send a bag inside the box? I received a totally empty box from Saks.
3. Did the box come with ribbons and camellias that they skipped?
Probably! Are you in NYC?Lip balm twins! Maybe we have the same SA? It was so sweet of her!
Or maybe all Chanel locations were advised by the higher ups to give away gifts (like the lip balm/ other skin care products) with the boxes as a kind gesture to make up for running out of boxes.

1. I picked up the box from my SA along with a new purchase.
2. Empty box with the papers and also a gift inside from my SA.
3. Came with ribbons and a camellia.
I’m assuming it all depends on your SA how you’re getting the box. Might be different cases for everyone, but this is how I got mine.
No, I’m not. I think it all depends on the SA like you rightly said. I just received another box today from a different SA and it was just an empty box with tissue papers inside. No gift! How sad!
I just got my box also with the lip balm gift! it was so well wrapped!
I am waiting for box still. I texted the SA in Neiman Beverly Hills and he has not reply to my text.

My SA just texted me to let me know she had gotten boxes in and was shipping one out to me. I'll be interested to see if I get the other accoutrements with it.

The mini flaps do come with Camillas, ribbons, small magnetic box and a black dust bag, maybe they were out, just let your SA know sometimes the SA doesn't package them if you buy them and ship. Maybe they have "shipping" people so you can text your SA and have it sent to you and get extra next time!
That's exactly what I got today. It was also for the January purchase. I don't think that it's an SA who send out boxes. I was told that an SA submits a request to the operation manager who manages and sends out boxes.
Do you think that it's a right box for a medium classic flap? I have many medium flaps and I have never received a medium flap in this small box for a mini. Sigh... With the tissue papers underneath, the bag sticks out this much. Sigh...The tissue papers inside the box are not even Chanel papers. Sigh...
Help! I just talked to the store manager and she said the small box sent (they call "80") was a perfect size for a medium flap. I have always received the bigger box for all of my medium flaps as shown below. What size of a box did you get for your medium classic flap?
Chanel changed boxes this year. I received three similar boxes meaning small boxes.
I have older boxes and you are right, they are bigger. No more or at least for sometime. I think it may be due to Covid.
