Thanks a lot, purplepoodles!
I'll definitely try the vaseline with the vintage Chanels and get the brush for the exotics, as the chamois wasn't ideal because I had to pick lint off some spots. By the way, Saphir Reptan was great on alligator and crocodile and it was odorless. Hallelujah!
I feel your pain as well. My DH suffers from allergies, so I know how bad it can be :/
Hi blondissima, I use the renovateur medaille d'or.
Ok, please don't laugh, is this the 75 ml bottle that has a round cap, but a square-glass jar, bc I have the option to buy the Renovateur in 50 ml round jar and round cap or the 75 ml. Will it make a difference? I did the Blackrock's and obenauf on one of box's and now have 3-box bags that need conditioning and am out of Blackrock's. Thanks!
I'm not Jadeite but I have the 75 ml square jar with the round cap. I didn't know there was a round smaller one. I buy it on the Valmour website.
Thanks so much duna!
I know this is off topic, but have you tried it on swift? I wanted to use it for a swift bag I bought as well.
You're welcome!
Actually yes, I used it on Swift the other day for the first time: I first tryed it on the inside of the flap (Birkin) then when I saw that it was OK I did the whole bag. I'm very sattisfied..... But do try it on a hidden part of the bag before, just to be sure!

Interesting Duna you reminded me I have never worked in my swift bags. They are soft and most scratch free so I never had to.
Hope this is not straying off topic for this thread
There are two ranges of Saphir products:
'Saphir Beauté De Cuir' and a premium range 'Saphir Medaille dOr 1925 Paris'
the Medaille dOr range renovator and balm include mink oil in their descriptions.
Does anybody have any thoughts on which is the best choice for H box calf?
Thanks
