I have actually used a wax/oil product made for horse tack (I bought it for my Vache Naturelle Birkin which I have since sold) on my Box Birkin several times, and it's been fine. It can't be used often though as it makes the bag a bit sticky. I'm a bit of a daredevil, lol, so I wouldn't recomend it generally speaking.
With the wax, again, all I am saying is that I've seen people get the sharp end of Claude, Marie, or Nora's tongue at Madison and BH for having wax on their bags. I never said anything about a bag not being accepted for spa. I just know the lecture as it's the same one I get when I do something they disapprove of

You ladies really enabled me with bag. For years I have wanted an older rouge H box. I was open to 28 or 32 retourne and never really considered a sellier until I looked at the fabulous bags belonging to Agneau88, Couture Coco and Chincac. I took the plunge with a 32 sellier. I have some difficulties dating the bag because it has had some replacement part, but I am thinking it is circa 1978. In perfect condition for the age. I included a little group shot with my vintage Constance and Jige. The 4th sister, the Plum Elan is upthread and I will add her here. I apologize for the dark picture. The camera is going wonky on me.
