I'm not sure anyone's thought of comparing both bags so I'm pitting two "extinct" beauties beside each other. I realized I owned both bags in Ebano so what better way to really put a comparison withouth color being a factor. Interestingly, these 2 bags represent my first and latest BV bag purchase. After all the luscious colors throughout the years there absolutely is nothing wrong going full circle with Ebano. Best brown ever!
Size & style-wise, they are both totes and sizes are similar. Note my Capri is old & very slouchy + the Cabat is stuffed in the pic
Handles - plain, thick tubular handles for the Cabat vs. flat-ish handles with gold hardware for the Capri
Body - double-sided intrecciato weave on the Cabat vs. single-sided intrecciato weave with suede lining, interior zip pocket and an external lock in gold hardware for the Capri
When flattened, both are really the same size in terms of width and height.
Another flattened photo this time showing the slight difference through the base. The Cabat has a bigger base hence can hold slightly more than the Capri.
Pictured below: Ottone Mine Cabat vs. Gainsboro Cervo Perlato Metal Lido Bag
Apart from the obvious differences (handles, inner pouches), the Lido is just a tad bit wider and has a bigger base. Sadly, the mini Cabat is no longer in production.
