The "age old question"... Sloane or New Pyramid? I posted this a long time back and putting it here for reference:

Sloane vs. New Pyramid comparison photos as promised. Good luck deciding!

1. Size: Sloane = 12.5 x 15.2 x 3.9. New Pyramid = 12.5 x 10.5 x 6.6
2. Closure: Magnetic vs. Zip
3. Rings: Woven-covered Brass vs. Brass
4. Price: US$2520 vs. US$2250 (as of 2009)

With paper stuffing (L-R: Curry Sloane vs. Absinthe New Pyramid)

Without paper stuffing (empty) - see slouch on the Sloane

Magnetic closure on the Sloane vs. Zipped closure on the Pyramid

Brass rings on the Pyramid vs. woven-colored brass rings on the Sloane

Medium Veneta and Small (aka Mini) Cabat

Shown side by side, empty Cabat and full Veneta:

The so-called "mini" Cabat is not a miniature bag; it is simply smaller in scale than the medium and large Cabats. It easily holds a full medium Veneta:

...and can also hold two empty medium Venetas:

Here are the above bags inside the medium Cabat--there is room to spare:

Here are my small aka mini Cabat (shown in the Barcelona calf version), compared with my medium Cabat (shown in the orchid nappa version. I do love them both--different sizes, different uses.

The small Cabat is the size of a small tote bag and can go everywhere a typical handbag will go for me, day to evening. I can take it on errands, shopping, and can grab it for going out for a casual dinner.

The medium Cabat is a large tote bag that I plan to use for work, travel, and errands/shopping. I would take it to a casual dinner if I were already out, but if I were leaving for dinner from home, I would probably opt for a different bag. The medium Cabat has a lot more interior room than I would need for just going out for a meal. Your preference may vary!

I own both and my vote is obvious based on your question (Which bag fits more?)... but will let the pictures do the talking.

Base vs. Base: And you can also see from this photo that the Veneta is less than an inch wider than the Pyramid. But the latter is taller (see next photo).

The Pyramid is slightly taller (main body of the bag) and the shoulder drop is longer.

Difference in zippers (in case this matters to you)

Here are the Medium Barcelona PO Cabat against the Large Matita Campana.

I was surprised to see that the Campana is basically the same size as the Cabat. The shape of the Campana makes it feel smaller to me.

The Campana was not all the way 'stuffed' to the bottom of the Cabat so it is not that much higher!!
